“Mommy Mommy!” Her voice is barely audible over the rattling of her plastic booster seat on the oak chair, even strapped down for dinner the child has trouble keeping still. Olivia answers without looking up, occupied with her task of cutting up child-sized bites of chicken,

“Yes Etta?”

“When can Gramma Nina come to visit?” Olivia smiles, Etta is quite taken with Nina, the older woman had made herself available a lot more after they lost Walter to the future, and Nina was just as smitten with the precocious little bishop. It was a comfort, both that Etta would have more family around and that - while Olivia still couldn’t remember all they shared together- she could still give Nina a sense of family. And sometimes, when Nina lets Etta play with her robotic arm or reads her a story, sometimes she almost remembers. Flashes of yet another life to assimilate into her psyche.

“How about we invite her to dinner next week when she gets back from her trip to Tokyo?”

Etta grins widely, a bit of mashed potatoes stuck to the corner of her jaw, “Do you think Gramma Nina will bring me a present from her trip?!”

Olivia smiles, shaking her head in amusement, “When doesn’t she?”

OHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THEY’RE REMOVING 2 OF BLAIR BROWN’S BEST FILMS FROM NETFLIX!!!!…EXTREME CLOSE-UP AND THOSE SECRETS. WATCH QUICKLY BEFORE THEY’RE GONE. TREMENDOUS ACTING AND SHE IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL. THESE CANNOT BE PURCHASED ON VIDEO OR DVD!! WHAT A SHAME.

Stayed up most of the night watching these two…now they’re gone. *weeping, weeping* Does anyone have these? *sigh* My Nina is gone, but at least they do have Fringe on Netflix. Still…

Actress Blair Brown balks at the notion that all single women are looking for a man. A non-married, working mother, Brown says, “I don’t think women are waiting for that key piece any longer.”

“It’s not that they don’t want that closeness,” Brown said in an interview in the August issue of McCall’s magazine, “but we’re more like men now. Women don’t have to settle and they don’t anymore.”

The 40-year-old actress, who stars in cable television’s “The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd,” says her time is divided between long work weeks and weekends in the country with her 8-year-old son, the product of her nine-year relationship with actor Richard Jordan. Although the couple split up about five years ago, Brown says they remain close.

As for why she never married, Brown says:

“When I was younger, it was certainly about breaking the rules, but I think now it’s just a question of following your own heart and finding you’re just not in sync with whatever the norms are.”

I came to Tumblr one day just to check it out and I stayed because of Fringe. Actually I stayed because of all of you. You guys found a way to make me love the show more and when I came here I didn’t think that was possible.

So I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. The Fringe fandom will never die out because we will not let it.

My sentiments exactly. I had followed a picture of Blair Brown as Nina Sharp, and stayed here on Tumblr. What a wonderful ride it has been. I will remember Nina the way I would a lost love, and though it breaks my heart, she left me honorably, nobly and sacrificed herself for the Human race. May we all be that brave and that forthright if that day comes. And I thank all of you, fans of Nina and Fringe, for helping me to fit in among such adoring fans. You have made my Fringe experience so warm and glowing. I love you all.
